Happy 100th birthday to Rita Melanson, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, born October 23, 1925 in Robertville, NB to Edouard and Mini Poirier. For most of her life, she lived in Bathurst, NB.
Her spouse, Emile Melanson, passed away December 24, 1999.
Of her 14 children, 5 have died.
She currently resides in a retirement home in Beresford, NB where she thoroughly thrives.
We celebrated her birthday on August 31, at the "Le Greenhouse Lounge Bathurst Marina" so that family and friends could join us from British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario.
From her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
